Marc Jacobs’ Latest Love: Lola
Offering a light, floral scent paired with notes of pink peppercorn, pear, ruby red grapefruit, peony, rose, geranium, vanilla, tonka bean and creamy musk makes it hard to resist Marc Jacobs’ new fragrance! The bottle is quite stunning and is designed with an oversized vinyl, flower top to make it not just any ordinary perfume bottle. Lola is available exclusively through August only at Bloomingdale’s. Bloomingdale’s at MOA has already sold out two shipments! It is a “must try” this fall!
Styles of the 80’s Return in Full Force This Fall
This season is about evolution. The key is to remember that no two eras are the same: create a modern outfit by evoking elements of the 80’s and incorporate them into the 2009 contemporary looks (leave the scrunchies and crimper still tucked away in the drawer!) One brand following this trend is found at Urban Outfitters — Jordache Vintage is offering dark, tight denim with similar fits to the 1980’s cuts. The difference this fall from the 80’s is stretch for comfort. Shoulder pads, leggings, one-shoulder tops and dresses, sparkle, studded shoe booties… 1980’s, here we come for fall of 2009!
