Last year was jam-packed with events, mile­stones, and trends in every cat­e­gory from pol­i­tics to pop cul­ture. But 2009 was undoubt­edly the year for fash­ion with the revival of old-school trends (such as plaid and the ‘80s look) and the arrival of fresh fash­ion icons.
