I sauntered into Club Monaco today, one of my favorite stores at Mall of America, and was beckoned by the manager to see some of their new fall pieces that just arrived. I must admit I felt very VIP to be checking out their new threads before anyone else. I was mesmerized by a sea of black and white with hints of purples and royal blues. This is exactly what I like about this store. Their pieces are classic with a modern twist; you don’t have to worry about it going out of style (Polo Ralph Lauren owns them, which explains their timeless designs). In fact, I bought an outfit there a few years ago and still plan on wearing it again this fall; you definitely get your money’s worth at Club Monaco.

The manager was very giddy about showing off this polka dot skirt. She said shoppers will see a lot of polka dots for the ladies and plaid for the guys in their new fall collection. I think this skirt is adorable and very versatile. Wear it now with a tank and opened toed, high heeled pumps or sandals. When the temps start dipping, pair it with a button up shirt, cardigan or turtlneck and tights. To amp it up, add a pop of color with a clutch or fun pumps.
